Chestnut Mountain Falls
Tucked into the Rock Creek Gorge Scenic Area of the Cherokee National Forest, Chestnut Mountain Falls drops around 40 feet in a cascading run through one of the more remote corners of the Ocoee and Benton backcountry. Getting there takes some work: the trail crosses Rock Creek more than once and ends with a boulder scramble that keeps the crowds away.
